I'm in the middle of learning to draw, so I decided to do some requests. I know there aren't any works of human beings in my gallery, but that'll change as soon as I get something finished. When I draw for myself, I have a tendency of never finishing anything, so I decided to draw some motivation from here. If I'm drawing for someone else, I always make it my mission to get it done as soon as possible.

This is how it works:

1.) Let me know what you want me to draw. If you have a specific picture in your mind, be as specific with your description as you can. The more you tell, the more I have to work with after all.

2.) Let me know which out of the following three types you want the picture to be: Sketch, Grayscale or Colored. Also let me know what style you want the picture to be; my own style is a bit anime-ish, so if it doesn't work for your taste, let me know.

3.) Be patient! I'm not really fast when it comes to drawing, and I'm in the middle of moving to a new apartment and all, so it might take me a while to finish your picture. But I assure you, I will keep contact and let you know how it's coming up so just wait and let me work in my own pace.

Usually when I find an artist that I might like, I comment to some pieces and then write down their name. When I have time, I go through their gallery (yes, the WHOLE gallery) and if I like the artist, I pick my favorite piece from them. I'm not going to fill my Favorites gallery by my favorite deviations, but my favorite deviants. My favorite artists. It takes a good amount of time, taken some deviants have a very wide gallery, but I enjoy each moment.

So, if you go to my Favorites, you find my favorite artists on this site. I'm constantly going through my list of artists (which is about 200 artist at the moment, by the way) so it will keep growing all the time. There are such amazing artists on this site.

I've had a few questions about this so I decided to explain... That's my explanation so live with it.

The only exception (for now) is the Noki Batz avatar [link] created by shizzywizzy out of my request. I love the avatar so I wanted to add it to my favorites. ShizzyWizzy is on my list of artist, but it's going to take a while to get to that part of the list...

It seems my project of drawing my first human portrait is getting delaid all the time. I wonder if it's because I have a lot to do or just because I try to expand drawing the hair as much as I can for any possible excuse...

Firstly, I got a new idea to challenge myself to learn stuff. I decided I'm going to draw a visual story (comic-like) based on my favorite song (it's risky, I know). I've already chosen the song and I have an idea for the story in my head. Right now I don't have time to draw anything, but I've done some rough scetches in the train. Will start working in all of that when I get the moving out of the way... Then I'll actually have a table to work on.

Also, I'll start moving to my new apartment this weekend. We're moving the furniture and such on Monday or Tuesday and the current apartment has to be empty before the month changes. 1st of August I'll be living in the new apartment already. Which means I've got a lot of work at hand for now. Plus, I'm not sure how long it's going to take for them to move the Internet connection to the new apartment, so I might not be able to use Internet for a while. But if that happens, I'll visit my sister every day long enough to check my messages. Plus, I've got Internet at work for that...

Let's hope everything goes well. There's still a lot that could go wrong...

About my Favorites:

Phew...

My life's been hectic lately. Work being frantic and being in the middle of moving to a bigger apartment doesn't really leave much free time... But I always find time to visit dA, that'll never change

I am getting ahead on my drawing process also. I am still trying to draw my first human portrait in about 8 years and attempting shading for the first time in my life so it really is keeping me challenged. I'm just sad I haven't had much time to draw lately, but I'm very slowly getting there. Just wait a while longer and I'll get it done and will upload it. I'm really exited of actually getting it done. If I ever get past the hair... I hate drawing hair...

But if I happen to disappear for a while, just know I'm still very much alive. Just busy with everything going on.

Those who know me very well know how nervous I am about my art, especially when it comes to the Internet. This far I've tried keeping as many of my tattoo designs away from it as possible, because I know how far the Internet reaches and how easy it is to use the pictures without the permission of the artits these days. But, to really show you all what I am about, I've decided to ignore this nervousness and post some of my designs up in the future. Not hte best ones, I don't have the courage to that yet, but some of them at least. I really would like to get some "orders" or commissions from people around DA and the only way to get them is to show what I've got. I love a challenge so I thought, what the heck, I might as well give it a try.

I wonder if there ever will be a time an artist can upload pictures on the internet without the fear of them getting to the wrong hands? I bet there will never be such a time; this is too big of a place to control like that. But we can all dream... ^_^



Right now I'm just getting mad of the fact I haven't been able to change my "mood" here in the journal for a long while. I'm stuck in neutral...
